Inspired by the Fritz Lang classic, Metropolis, The Dancer embraces the freedom of expression in its most natural form, unfazed by those that may laugh or are jealous.
Film History and Recommendation:
Metropolis, originally released in 1927, depicted the writers’ vision of how the world would appear in the year 2000. Although it was introduced to the public in the pre-talkie era of Hollywood, it is one of the most influential movies of all time and is still relevant today.
If you have not had the pleasure of seeing this classic for yourself, we cannot recommend it enough and encourage you to pick up a copy for viewing during your next movie night.
